Our long weekend detox tips!

    Hydration!

Drink water as much as you can. Drinking lots of water post-holiday weekend can also help to flush out some of the stuff that you consumed, and can help you feel better too.
The recommended amount for an active adult is between 2 to 4 litres a day.
To stay hydrated you can also eat fruits and vegetables and drink tea (hot and cold)!

  Detox!

Detox juices and smoothies after a holiday weekend will help you replace lost nutrients.
We have the perfect kombucha smoothie recipe for a healthy gut and healthy skin!
Kombucha = delivery system for complexion-saving nutrients.
Also, pineapple helps stimulate your collagen production—aka the protein that keeps your dermis plump but thins out with age—while its anti-inflammatory properties help keep unwanted breakouts at bay.

Ingredients :
-Mango, strawberries, frozen pineapple, kombucha
Place all ingredients in a blender and liquify. If the mixture is too thick, add a little bit of water or more juice.

  Probiotics!

Probiotics are live microorganisms that can be consumed through fermented foods or supplements.
Live probiotic cultures can be found in fermented dairy products such as yoghurts and milk drinks. Fermented foods like pickled vegetables, tempeh, miso, kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut and soy products may also contain some lactic acid bacteria.
You can also take probiotics as tablets, capsules and powders that contain the bacteria in dried form.
Now is a great time to start a cure as probiotics promote a healthy balance of gut bacteria and have been linked to a wide range of health benefits.
These include benefits for weight loss, digestive health, immune function and much more!
