How to remove your lash extensions at home?

Eyelash extensions make your eyes look lovely, but they don't last forever.
While you are in isolation, we want to show you how to remove your lash extensions without damaging your natural lashes.... from home!

Follow our 3 steps below to remove any eyelash extensions. It is a sad day, but rest assured beauties, not all is lost, this is a opportunity to maintain and strengthen your lashes. Hello Lash Growth Serum 👋

STEP 1 - Let them be
Eyelash extensions are bonded to your natural lashes using surgical-grade adhesive - it's designed to withstand water, soap, and sweat, and will not come off easily.
If you try to pull out your lash extensions you could risk damaging the follicle and removing your natural lashes. No extensions is one thing, no lashes is another.

STEP 2 - Coconut Oil
An oil of the gods. There are so many uses for coconut oil. Used in cooking, skincare.. well that's all I can think of right now. But it turns out it's also great for removing Eyelash Extensions.

Soak a cotton pad with natural coconut oil and hold the moistened pad to your lashes for a few minutes and then you should be able to slide your extensions off easily. Repeat this process morning and night until all your extensions are removed.

STEP 3. Steam
Usually this is a 'do not try this at home' kind of situation. But drastic times call for drastic measures. Steam can help loosen the bonds of the eyelash extension glue.

After cleansing your face and lashes you can steam your face for up to 10min max and then repeat step 2 again.
How to get the steam? It's not super glamorous, and definitely not our finest moment, but a a bowl with hot water and a tea towel over your head seems to be the most effective option. (Yes there are other options, and we would not recommend trying to get your shower this hot).

When all your extensions have been removed, give nature a helping hand and use our Lash Growth Serum to strengthen and lengthen your natural lashes.
