PRE-TREATMENT ADVICE

POST-TREATMENT ADVICE
- No rubbing or massaging the area for 4 hours post-treatment
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
- Avoid the following for the remainder of the day: saunas, spas or excessive heat, strenuous exercise or activity, aspirin or ibuprofen, alcohol, extended uv exposure
- Makeup can be applied the following day
- It is recommended you wait a minimum of 2 weeks before receiving any facial treatments, waxing, massage or laser treatments
- A common side affect is a slight headache – panadol can be used to relieve this
What areas can be treated?
Popular areas that are often treated with Anti-Wrinkle Injections include the expression lines that form across the forehead, around the eyes (crows feet) and between the brows. ‘Smokers lines’ around the lips can be softened, those deeper lines that can appear on either side of the mouth (called Marionette lines) and even fix “bunny lines,” a gummy smile or chin indents.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections can also help to balance out the placement of uneven eyebrows, help to relax neck bands (Vertical Platysma Bands) and even soften jaw clenching and reduce Hyperhidrosis of the armpits.
What’s the difference between ‘Product B’ and ‘Product D’?
We offer two of the most popular Anti-Wrinkle products currently available in Australia and as there are some slight differences in their action, our Cosmetic Nurse will discuss each with you during your consultation and assessment.
How long will results last?
This greatly depends on your body’s ability to metabolise the product so it does vary from person to person but generally you will see the results for up to 3-4 months. However, because of ‘muscle memory’ we explained earlier; with repeated treatment your muscle will remember to stay flat and you may see your result lasting a little longer each time you have treatment.
Will there be bruising and downtime?
Not necessarily. There are some factors to consider like if you take blood thinners, or generally bruise easily or even if you are a smoker. Any bruising is typically minimal and can be covered with make-up if needed. Usually, there is no bruising at all.
