MEET THE SIX NEW FACES
OF BELIEVE IN BEAUTIFUL.

Beauty is much more than a pretty face. It’s something you carry with you; a light in the heart. We recently launched a search to find six new faces for our brand. The winners were chosen because they revealed something beautiful about themselves that shone right through.

FREYA

Freya is a personal stylist who aims to build a styling workshop to help women and girls become confident in themselves. She applied to become a brand ambassador because she wanted to be involved in something positive – and loved the challenge of putting herself out there.

FREYA BELIEVES

Being beautiful to me means having an inner beauty which radiates from the inside out. I have never felt beautiful and it wasn’t until I was in my thirties that I realised what it actually meant to be beautiful. First of all, it was having confidence and believing in myself; and secondly, it was understanding that we are all different and it’s okay to be yourself.

ORLA

Orla’s family emigrated from England to Australia in 2004. She is currently studying Justice at university and looks forward to making a difference in people’s lives. She applied because she’s currently working on being healthier and better within herself and felt Believe in Beautiful’s values matched her own.

OLRA BELIEVES

To me, beautiful means radiating a subtle strength and confidence. Someone who is truly happy in themselves is beautiful. I believe being beautiful means making others feel assured and worthy. Leaving a lasting mark on people and positively affecting them is something that makes a person beautiful to the core.

NIKKI

Nikki is a 42-year-old single mum of two who left the Police Service to focus on a new direction in life. She is vegetarian, passionate about healing and self-development, and is currently working towards launching her Reiki business.

NIKKI BELIEVES

I haven’t always thought it or felt it but I can finally look in the mirror and see through all the hurts and the mistakes I’ve made that I’m beautiful. Forgiving someone who deeply hurt you is beautiful. Nothing is more beautiful than when you can forgive yourself and see the world through love and not fear.

KEZIA

Kezia is a Year 9 student who, like many teenagers, struggles with living up to the media’s projections of perfection – particularly since moving away from a remote community. She loves photography and lives at home with her family.

KEZIA BELIEVES

Growing up, I was very shy, and I always thought that I’m less than other people regarding beauty, because I might’ve been ‘bigger’ than everyone else... But I’ve come to realise that everyone has their own sense of beauty, no matter what size they are, or how they look. I believe that beauty is to accept and love everyone, and treat others how you want to be treated, is what makes someone ‘beautiful’.

JO

Jo grew up in a small country town before moving to Brisbane’s bayside, where she juggles being a mum-of-three, running a yoga studio, writing fantasy fiction and studying Fitness. Naturally shy, she’s been working hard to find her confidence – and saw the Believe in Beautiful search as a natural progression on her journey..

JO BELIEVES

Beautiful to me is a person who loves themselves inside and out, and radiates that love to everyone that they meet.

RALENE

Raelene was adopted by a ‘wonderful, gentle couple’ when she was just eight days’ old and has two grown-up children and one grandchild. After a lifetime of putting her family first, this opportunity has given Raelene the encouragement she needed to invest a little time and love in herself.

RALENE BELIEVES

Confidence is what makes a person beautiful. I had my 61st birthday this year and believe true beauty comes from within.
