I have been in the beauty industry for 11 years
How long have you been working at Brazilian Beauty?
I have a long history with Brazilian Beauty, I was with them for 4 years before moving to Sydney to expand my knowledge in the skin care industry. I have been back with Brazilian Beauty Teneriffe for 9 months.
What do you love most about being a beauty therapist?
I love the skin. I am constantly fascinated by our largest organ. I love the science behind treatments and ingredient technology and love working for an ever-changing industry. I also love how my job allows me to help women feel beautiful in their own skin.
What is your favourite treatment to perform?
Advanced Skin Treatments – particularly Peels, Dermal Rolling and Skin Rejuvenation. I love seeing the instant results.
What training courses have you undertaken?
Training is a big part of my role, I have undertaken quite a few Post-Graduate courses including Diploma of Salon Management, Certificate in Training and Assessment and Infection Control Certificate. I have also completed expert workshops with the International Dermal Institute and am very excited to currently be studying Feather-Touch Brow Tattooing, one of Brazilian Beauty’s newest treatments
How do you offer your clients great customer service?
We have such beautiful clients it is so easy to go above and beyond their expectations. I am quite good at remembering faces and names so I try to make everyone feel like a VIP when they enter our salon. As a brand, we believe that ‘Client is King.’ We offer a very personalised service and our clients can we assured they will receive the same service whichever location they visit. I have a great relationship with our local businesses and enjoy getting to know them outside the salon as well.
What do you like most about working for Brazilian Beauty?
I love structure and working in a large team of very talented therapists. I particularly like the variety of services we offer for our clients. It means that each day is different and we can deliver something for everyone. Brazilian Beauty allow their team members to have a voice and be part of the decision making process when it comes to new services or the way we do things. They have a great succession plan and reward top performers. Training and development is important to the brand which is very motivating. In fact, we just had our Annual Conference which had a fantastic line up of inspiring guest speakers who shared their stories. It was such a fantastic day and I felt truly blessed to be sitting in a room with these women.
What interested you about the Beauty Therapy industry?
I was inspired by my beauty therapist who I used to visit when I was in high school. Still to this day, I have had a great relationship with her and consider her a fantastic mentor. I was drawn to the idea of helping women feel great about themselves and having an impact on their happiness.
Why did you choose to work at Brazilian Beauty?
I had a friend who had made the switch to work at Brazilian Beauty and spoke very highly of the company and the brand. During the interview I was blown away by the opportunities it presented to a therapist and knew this was the place for me! I knew straight away how much the brand really cared for their team members and invested in their development. I wanted to work for a brand that would allow me to grow as a therapist and as a person. I am truly grateful for the opportunities that have come my way from being involved with Brazilian Beauty.

Brazilian Beauty’s consistency and professionalism as well as the variety of treatments, our offering is quite unique! Our dedication to customer service and helping to make our client’s look and feel beautiful from the inside out. Our marketing initiatives are second to none and only about to get better! We keep our finger on the pulse to ensure our clients are offered the most current and effective treatment and product offerings.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to be close to the ocean, spending time with family and friends.
What hobbies do you have?
I like to discover new restaurants/cafes and wine bars, read, cook and train at the gym, I have recently started colouring in for adults to help de-stress and unwind.
